I read earlier that size zero models are being offered free meals today in a posh restaurant of Notting Hill. Are they also offering free meals to the homeless who can't afford to eat properly in the first place?

Of course not, the homeless would actually take the offer up! Its a piece of bandwagon advertising for the restaurant.

Skinny models and homeless people, sounds like some sort of bizarre photo shoot to me. Why wouldn't they just offer this to everyone, the average person dose not eat properly and they would probably eat the food unlike the anorexic model.

It's not likely any size zero model would take up the offer. There would be a blaze of negative publicity if they did accept the offer.... and models have to promote a successful image.. not accepting free handouts of food.
Its guerilla marketing by the restraunteur... very clever imo.

i spend a lot of time with homeless people finding them shelters and food and they are not welcome in these establishments for many reason. i see to their shelter and food needs and the last thing these individuals needs is to be made sport of..feed the poor ...don't make fun of the poor or needy..thank god you don't have to live like they do...their self esteem is rock bottom so be glad you have a roof over your head and three square meals a day. ..and give to the homeless and not make fun at their expense

Doubt it. This is a publicity stunt pure and simple. Homeless people would just lower the quality of the posh restaurants.

you have a point. But they know skinny models won't even drop in to eat these free meals.Unlike homeless who hank marvin and would eat anything.

crazy isnt it.. i took it as the restaurant taking the p*ss out of the models for not eating enough worth charging for?.. id like to think it was that.. then they should feel a little embarrassed excepting it!
