Right this is going to be answered as best i can but when you say a bump hairstyle i take it you mean either volume and height at the back just before a pony tail may begin or bump as in elvis style hump sorta thing at the front? well i can explain both..

1.) the volume at the back ----> all you need to do is spray a bit of volumising hairspray onto the area at the back where you want it to bump up a bit and then push it with ur hands until ur satisfied with how it looks then spray more hairspray and put into place with some hair grips to keep it secure. and there you have it volumisied "bumpy" hair at the back hehe

2.) The elvis style hump bump at the front of ur head ----> all you have to do is take a section of your hair from the front make it nice and square and neat with a comb... then twist the hair round but not too tight keep twisting it so the long bit of hair looks kinda like a plait.. then put it back onto the top of your head and push it forward so that the hair forms the bump hump kinda thing then again grip it in place with hair grips and spray some hairspray on it to keep it neat and tidy... and as if by magic u have created a funkay hair style!!

I hope these answers have kinda helped you! with more info im sure i could of told you exactly what you wanted to know but good luck anyway and happy hairstyling !! = )

Backcomb the area you want to add height to, do this underneath the hair so it's not all bumpy at the front, secure with hairgrips and spray a squirt of hairspray to keep in place.

T's it. Start from the front of your head to the back. Hairspray it and T's it, then work ur way to the back of the head. Stop when u want. When finish, just bring all the hair back and gently comb the top layer.
