I was told I have this spiritual gift. I'm 99.99% accurate unless im paranoid then it wont work. my mother always told me it was the devil but ive read it in the bible about gifts. I need to know more about it

It depends. Its evil if your selfish and use your gift for the wrong things. But if you use it to heal and help then i'm sure it's a gift from God.

No, it is not of the devil, but is part of the wonderful capacity that God gave Adam and Eve in the Garden|
With the Fall, these sorts of gifts were not entirely wiped out, but were fractured and disorganized|
Some people might call be psyhic, but I hate the term| It is actually a very refined form of intuition and perception| With it you know what is what because certain signs appear that you can interpret| People think that you are reading their minds, but there is nothing magic about this| It is just a matter of being very observant about clues that the person gives off in their body language and facial expressions|
Things like telepathy, precognition - what we would call paraspycology - are not to be confused with the occult which is strictly forbidden|
What the occult does is take *fragments* of exceedingly deep knowledge, which we would call "gnosis|"
The problem with gnosis is that you are dealing with fragments, but do not have the *whole,* so you do not know properly how to deal with these fragments, but you are essentially guessing, and you *think* you know what you are doing because of your pride| With that, you are way over your head, and engaging in such things always brings the most terrible consequences|
But with precognition or ESP, if you are using it naturally, there is nothing wrong with that, as you are simply using a natural gift| It is something that is of great help if you have it|

Dear One and Only--
Just because someone has told you, you have the gift of discernment, doesn't mean you have the gift of discernment. For you to say, "I always know when something is about to happen", is a stretch probably. No, you shouldn't try to use it better. It's a good way to become side-tracked and leave loving the Lord for what is more salacious to you which is your desire to know the "gift of discernment". You sound young in the Lord and I would encourage you to drop your pursuit to become grounded in the Word. If you truly have a gift, it will grow as you grow. If it grows without spiritual growth, it will become a monster; something that puffs you up.
