I have a cell in excel which references another cell in a separate worksheet. I need to search this cell?

By searching, I mean via Edit -> Find. At the moment, it only searches the formula, and not the actual text that is displayed.

Go to tools, option, turn edit directly into cell option off. Its really for dumb people :) Now you can double click your cell and see which cell it reference.

The other trick is to go to tools/customize/toolbars and select the audit toolbar. The fancy arrows will show you the precedents and antecedents.

then use the formula to search the content
