Yes.
1. Wiring loom in floor corroded so the car wouldn't lock.
2. Some of the head bolts slackened themselves off, warping the cylinder head.
3. Exhaust valves started to stick, making it run like a tractor.
4. All 4 coil springs broke at different times.
5. Lower wishbone bushes replaced 4 times in 3 years.
6. front to rear brake pipes corroded through at the fuel tank.
7. Headlights were crap.
8. For a 2.0 litre car making 136BHP it had tiny 185mm wide tyres as standard.

The good thing is I was a Ford technician at the time so the labour was free!

I used to work for a Ford Parts Supplier and I can tell you that the Mondeo amongst others made that company one hell of a lot of money.

Unfortunately yes - the fuse for the lighter keeps blowing, and its a pain to take the glove-box off and to get into that small space. I live in the city, but despite this, my mondeo rattles enough to scare any baby. The gears keep slipping out and the vehicle veers strongly to the left when i brake hard....its a company car, and a hand-me -down, so i can't say for sure that its the bad quality of Ford in general or just abuse by the previous driver......

I have never heard of a Ford Mondeo. Are you not in the USA? anyway, we have never had trouble with any Fords we have owned and that's been a whole slew of them.
