No need to compare, such a question will only induce angry replies eventually.
To me, both are special... as for the "Christian messiah" as you resorted to calling him, apparently he holds the same status of Messihah with the Muslims too. They await his come back and as for the Prophet Mohammed, they revere him as the last prophet of God.
it is a better idea to celebrate the similarities between the two religions, of which, there is a multitude than drawing comparisons between two people who are equally reverenced in Islam (as Messengers of the same God) and one of them is the Savior in Christianity.
God bless....

Muslims believe in all Messengers of God without any discrimination among them, as every known nation has a Warner or messenger from God. They were chosen by God to teach humanity and deliver His Divine message. The Qur'an mentions the name of some of them including Jews including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and Jesus (peace be upon them).

God doesn't differentiate between his prophets, you should believe that god sent many prophets to each nation , but the last prophet Mohamed has been sent to all people and Islam is the last religion to all people and not only for specific nation

in muslim belief, Jesus is known as Isa. and they also believe that Isa will return in the judgement day as messiah or al-mahdi.
what they disagree with the christian about Jesus is his position as son of God. muslim believe Jesus is only human no more no less then Muhammad and the other prophets, and should not worshipped as a god.

Each of God's messengers came to fulfill a purpose, and none can be called better than another.
