I have seen women with blonde hair on top with dark brown underneath-at the neck. I think they look terrible. Why do they do that?

They think it look's cool, it is called minking , and yeah it doe's look bad.

It's a style. I use to feel the same way. But now i'm in love with it and want it done myself.

because they are not naturally blonde and it's cheaper to get half a head dyed than a whole head......it looks alright when done properly but others are just plain skanky. especially the white/black ones

some call it the shadow effect and i personally think it does look good, when done the right way

not sure. they obviously think it looks nice. we all have different taste. i dnt like it but it does look good on some women.
