I have twin boys and they are three. They will not keep their clothes on, or their diapers. What can I do to keep them from doing this? Also the will not sleep on their beds, instead they sleep under them... Can someone help me understand them?

My daughter is three, and hates wearing clothes. She will put them on when we are going somewhere, but as soon as we get home it is off with everything! It sounds like they are just being three year olds. I can not even imagine having to deal with two at once, all of the time. Hang in there, and just remember that in a few years you will look back on this time and laugh.

lol, that's funny they sleep under their beds, hehe. My son's almost 3 and he doesn't like diapers or clothes either. I let him go without it because it's just a pain in the butt to put everything on him when he's going to turn around 2 seconds later and take it all off anyway. This has actually helped him potty train. Now that he doesn't always have to take off everything, he just runs to the bathroom and pees in the potty, it's great. He DOES however, ask for a diaper when he needs to go #2.

I say it's pretty harmless to let me go without diapers and clothes, even if that makes me look bad... it's just a phase, they'll get over it, you know? I do, however, think it's a little dangerous for them to sleep under their beds. I would take the bed off of the metal/board whatever it's called, just put the mattress and boxspring right on the floor so they can't crawl under it. Do that temporarily until they get used to sleeping in their beds. Even if they have toddler beds, take the mattress out and put it on the floor.

At this age, they seem relentless with what they want, very demanding... I just let my son experience what he wants, as long as it's not dangerous. Good luck =)

Umm there three. My three year old boy does the same thing. LOL I have two daughters 5 and 8 and they never did any of the things my boy does. I think we're in for an adventure.

Most two and three year olds love to run around nude. I have been through it three times now. You should be able to toilet train them while they are in this stage. At home let them run around in undies and you will find they will stay on longer. Encourage them to use the toilet. After a while they get so comfortable in undies they leave them on.

I have two three yr old girls who are also very active when they are together. You have to remember that kids will be kids and that you need to talk to them individually and teach them the norms of society. Talk to them in a nice manner but also let them know that you are serious, i normally give them a time out (3min because they are 3yrs old) It works because I sit them down and let them know what they did wrong and that they are given timed out because of their misbehavior.

they're probably doing it because they know it stresses you out!!!

often children take off their nappies as a sign they are getting ready to be potty trained.

ignore the behaviour - does it really matter??
