PHENERGAN - Does anyone know where i can buy this over the counter?

I have been told chemists no longer stock this.

Thought i should mention the reason i need it - my 2.5 year old has a terrible cough (been to doctors & told it will run its course and just to give calpol) - this is now keeping her up on a night and making her even more ill with lack of sleep. I have been told Phenergan is a sleep aid and may help her get a restful sleep until her cough goes.

Depends on what you want it for.... for a sedative in children, try replacing with Vallergan (prescription only) for travel sickness (which is what I've used it for), then plenty of over the counter tablets and potions available.

I used to buy Phenergan from Crossdales chemists. May be able to order for you.

I suffer from terrible eczema flare ups, Phenergan helps me to sleep. I have purchased it in the last 6mths, at the local chemist. Maybe try a few different outlets. Also,is it safe for your child to take? I am a nursing mother, and whilst pregnant and now, have been told to take Polaramine or Periactin antihistemines, so maybe check for alternatives...both of these will make you (or her) drowsy.

I'm not suprised as it was becoming popular for drugging kids to sleep just like the use of opium in the Victorian age.
