How much is a video/TV phone in China (Beijing/Shanghai)? Is it worth buying one over there to use here is Australia? I would be greatful for examples.

They are very cheap, with the latest technology, but you must make sure they are compatible with your network (not a sim card). I live in Japan, and they will not work in America, they use some crystal chip thing in them, all cells do, but if you want a certain phone to work you have to swap out the crystals, and it's a pretty difficult thing to do. You can buy phones from foreign countries that, are compatible with your network, but you may want to make sure before you buy.

Yeah some phone might not work because of "bandwith frequency" i think, or something like that. Plus if something goes wrong, and if your shops there can't fix it, they might tell you to bring that back from where you bought it, which is a hassle.

not cheap in China,nearly the same price.China's GSM Network is compatible with that in Au
