Dry skin is a big thing. One of the problem is because we wash in chlorinated water everyday. Chlorine is a bleaching agent and it strips away the natural skin oil. All the cream and lotion we put on is not the same and it is a after application. I do have dry skin myself and I use shower filter. It really help is you case is same as mine. Use shower filter and also apply the cream to see it that works. I myself uses shower filter and finds it to work for me, but still I use cream.

Shea Butter works reallt nice, Skin so soft works really good too. But this new im using called Gold Bond. In the winter my skin cracks and stuff. So i use that an i can go the whole day without having to put it on no more than the amount of times i wash my hands.

I'm using the mango shea butter cream now...I love it!! But, I only use this in winter months b/c its tooo heavy for the summer. In the summer, try the lotion formula.
Gd Luck
Also,, Neutrogena's Norwegian hand, foot, and body lotions (3 separate lotions) do well on my skin also...They are just hard to find

are you sure you dont have excema? is very common may mother, sister, son, and gma both have it. cetaphil is an excellent moisturizer along wth aveeno, jergens is a good product also. make sure you use a moisturizing soap such as dove or caress is also good. also when you shower or bath apply some babyoil on your body while your still a little damp. this will soak into the skin better this way, you can then put a regular lotion on top of that.if it continues and is bothersome you may want to see a dermetologist.

Apply 2 tablespoon raw milk on the face and neck or where ever it is dry and leave it to dry. Wash off with cold water. This helps to get soft skin. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and use a face pack of ripe bananas and honey. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for dry skin at
