Are they? I never read anything that made sense on evolution by a creationist. Some don't even know the concept of species, they talk about "kinds" but leave in the middle as to what such a "kind" is.

The best example of whether God exist is the Human Brain.
Studies, like that done by the University of Michigan, and featured in the Discovery Channel program, The Amazing Life of the Human Brain, shows just how amazing the human brain is.
Every second while awake, we are absorbing 40MBs of data per second. That’s 144 gigabytes per hour and about 2 terabytes per day. That’s a lot of data even for the largest computer. When we sleep at night, and only at night or under nighttime conditions, all that data is sorted and stored through the creation of synaptic connectors and biochemical bounds. The brain has enough volume to allow for the creation of these storage connectors to last over 10,000 years.
I should also note that a recent study has found that it doesn’t happen while dreaming, but just before it. Your consciousness completely shuts down in the same manner a program pauses while saving a file.
Without the need of a creator, what evolutionary pressure could bring about the need for this much volume that would take that long to fill? Clearly, man was either created by God to live that long, or if evolve, once lived that long, and has since de-evolved to what we are today. Which do you think it is?
Evolution does take place, in that animals have evolved and humans have de-evolved since the time of the creation. Many divergent species are related, such as the Meerkat/Hyena and the Lion/House cat. A house cat can breed with a lion, I wonder if the same is possible the Hyena and Meerkat?
This is why I believe in God. I use the brain he gave me, and designed for me, to determine something beyond imagination.

Please, if they were such experts then they'd know that evolution doesn't claim that:
1) we "came from monkeys"
2) a dog can give birth to a cat
3) if you look out your window you will see a fish turning into a bird
4) evolution deals with the first instance of life
5) there is a difference between "micro" & "macro" evolution
Yet we still see Creationists spouting this kind of rubbish even here on this board.

A KIND is a general term to denote a certain type of animal such as dog, cat, cow, crow, owl, snake, frog, and shark. There are different sub categories in each of these families, but each kind can only reproduce within it's kind. Over a long period of time though, u get a large variety of different types in each kind, a good example being the human society, we've got tall, short, white , black, brown , yellow, and mixed.

Actually I disagree. I've yet to see a Creationist with any real knowledge of evolution (or scientific method). They tend to quote from the same erroneous sources and misunderstand the most basic principles of evolution.

Dear Friend,
The Bible teaches and allows its readers to be investigative, in the book of Acts for instance Acts 17:11Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
The bible encourages us to investigate its mysteries as a means of discovery, It also commissions us all to be evangelistic and share the good news of Christs' impending kingdom:
Matthew 28:19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
And also in Matthew 4:17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
Christians believe that Christ lived not only to provide us with forgiveness and salvation through his sacrifice, but also as an earthly example for us to follow.
If we are to have discourse and put forward our point of view, then we must understand the other viewpoint, and their 'theory' of evolution.
I hope this answers your question.
God Bless

I think some have a good foundation in all the sciences or on evolution and creationism, and some don't. Don't generalize.

if they were actually experts on evolution they'd realize how sane and common sense itreally is. They just think they know about evolution.
