Hey everyone. I need to know when we should put our engagement picture/announcement in the paper. We are getting married on June 2 of this year.... and my fiance's parents are saying that we should do it like a month before, but I honestly dont think that is right......when do we do it?

you can do it when every you want. we put ours in about a month before the wedding. just make sure you know what kind of waiting list there is to get your picture in the paper. with lots of summer weddings, sometimes your picture won't immediately in there, so give yourself plenty of time just in case.

You need to check with the paper you plan to put the announcement in as each paper has different guidelines/rules. A month or two before should be fine.

I believe it goes in when you get engaged. And then a few days before the wedding you have a wedding announcement.

You do it after you get engaged... about 6 months before.
FYI it's crazy $$$$..... they wanted $200 to put ours in the paper.... I was like forget it!!

Engagement picture should go in asap. Quick! Ring them now, while the engagement is still new! Congratulations.

You can do it whenever you wan to, really! Some couples wait until just before the wedding while others do it months before the wedding. I say if you are excited and want to share your excitement, do it now!
