They are one and the same. No one was around back then to actually hear what he said, so we only have "what everyone wrote about him" to go on.
I believe the message of Jesus was pure and profound, but it was grossly misunderstood by most and therefore was not correctly recorded in many cases, and certainly misinterpreted.

The question is somehow difficult because I really don't know what he said as I am not an eye witness ( or should I say ear witness). All I know about him is third hand and downward information. I do believe that he could have said some of the things attributed to him. I however have problems with statements inconsistent with his alleged nature - a loving some of God - a loving God who would condemn everyone who does not follow him to an eternity of fire and brimstone!!!

Yeah. Only because He was humble. He didn't create an easy way out. He lived by example. He didn't beg for money, He learned a trade and didn't condemn people. I tend to believe the things He did were real even though His message has gotten all messed up over the years and people use Him as an excuse to be complete buttheads sometimes.
It takes a total leap of faith to believe these things but yeah, I think they happened no matter how improbable some may find them to be.

Everything writen is true. God himself has warned that anybody who alters the bible will be punished.
Hard but true.
(Revelation 22:18-19) “I am bearing witness to everyone that hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll; 19Â and if anyone takes anything away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life and out of the holy city, things which are written about in this scroll.

I believe he sent by God and he told the truth all the time but i do not believe what everyone wrote about him. He couldn't say so much different things right? At least it doesn't make sense to me...
