Looking for why it is that so many people would want to live in Maui other than the weatther and ocean. Is there something you particularily love about Maui?

Too many tourists. Too much development. Our infrastructure cannot sustain the tourists nor the development. We are in trouble. Locals born and raised on Maui are forced to leave Hawai'i and move elsewhere because our hourly wages cannot compete with the millionaires and investors who have ruined our 'aina. Please go to Belize, or the Bahamas...

For starters, I'd like to tell you that after 6 years on Maui, I'll never go back. Here are some pro's that I can think of.
1. Lot's of opportunity in the tourist industry.
2. Great for the sports enthusiast - great weather, water, etc
3. Lot's of pretty fish???
That's a tough question for me to answer. My list of con's would be LONG.....

Are you talking about just Maui or all of Hawaii?
