I pray to God, and you don't have to pray out loud for Him to hear you, God is everywhere, even in your thoughts, so He hears you even when you are silent.

When you pray it can be in your mind as well as out loud. When others are present, for instance before eating dinner, you should pray outloud to bless the food God has given you so that others are able to hear and say Amen which means in agreement. If they can't hear when you pray how can they agree with you and say Amen? Also, when you pray you must always pray with the name of Jesus Christ. It says it in the Bible that anyone who prays with the name of Jesus Christ will recieve the answer to his/her prayers. Also, Jesus and God are one, but you must pray to God in Jesus' name. There is no one right way to pray. Since you have asked this question, I'd suggest that you pray aloud and silently, but without regard for how much you do of either. Praying to Jesus is praying to God as he is God. You can pray to God (the Father), or the God (the Son - Jesus). You can ask for things or give thanks or just worship or just converse. But,.. you must pray.

Only if you think He is hard of hearing, or far away or you might miss the chance of being heard ! Of course the only prayer is out of your mind. One does not pray to Jesus, who became man but, only to God. Because you ask these questions, I think you you may not be totally clear in your head. u can pray in your mind.
God or Jesus, both r far away in heaven. do u think they can hear u if u pray loudly? i dont think so. if u feel that they can hear ur prayer when u r loud from such a distance, then they can hear u even if u r praying silently. u should be internally pure

If there are a God, I am quite sure he/she can hear you in your mind.
If you are a Christian, you should pray to Jesus as based on the bible, only to him and him alone you can go to heaven.

god is supreme power he watches everyone.so its is not necessary to pray load he near whatever u think.
u should not do pray to Jesus.he is just a messenger who convey the message from god.so pray only the god.

In line with islamic teaching if you pray alone you must do it silently.But if you are the preacher and you have many followers (jama'ah)behind you, you must speak louder so your followers will hear it and they will answer amien.Allah is no deaf he will know everything including what is in your heart.
