It rained the morning of my wedding, but cleared up by early afternoon. I got married in August 2000.
My sister got married August 2004. The morning started out nice, but it started raining at 4pm and didn't stop until 10pm. She had an outdoor wedding and reception.
My parents got married in 1975 and it rained on their wedding day as well. They're still married.
I must have had a very lucky wedding day because not only did it rain but I found a tree frog on the wall of the reception hall, and on the way to our honeymoon destination dolphins played in the bow wake of the ferry we were on. With all that we should be married forever.

It rained on my wedding day in the morning and cleared up just in time for the ceremony to start. I have only been married for month (today) but I am looking forward to many happy years of love and companionship.

no, but it was a close thing.....you could hear rolling thunder ...and feel the moisture in the air..and a slight breeze was blowing..but it went around us...(we had an outdoor wedding)
going on 18 wonderful years.....true, the best years of my life so far..I love the man more now ..than I did on the day we got married....it just keeps getting better .....
I hadn't heard of rain being good luck...but maybe it is.... : )

It rained for both of my previous weddings, and both lasted around 3 years, both of my ex's cheated on me, so I guess it was unlucky in a way, but also very lucky as I have now met the love of my life and can see that previously what I thought was love totally pails into insignificance compared with this relationship

My wedding day was absolutely, postively beautiful. By the time the reception rolled around (later that night), it was raining, but fortunately all my guests were inside.
We've been married almost three years now.

I am getting married in April so it might rain on my wedding day but my parents were married on April 28th, it rained on their wedding day and they are celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary this year!!
I would agree that it is good luck.

The elders say that it's good that it rains at the wedding day as long as it is not heavy rain..

I'm not sure but there's definitely a chance of it happening! My wedding is on May 19th, a day where it can get pretty gloomy! And it's outside, so we will see! Either way, I couldn't possibly get any luckier no matter what happens, my future wife is the love of my life!!!!
