I am atracted to someone who is not interested in me. But every time I see him, I still get all the fluttering butterflies in my stomach. I can't help it if I am atracted to him. What do I do?

Theres really not much you can do, if you're attracted to someone, you're attracted to them. And BTW, how do you know he's not interetsed in you? Is he someone you admire from afar or is he maybe a friend of yours or hang out in the group you're in?
If it's from afar I would say introduce yourself to him, but not on the premise of "getting together", just to be friends.
maybe he likes you and doesn't even know it ;)
Either way its not the end of the world, I promise you you'll have a hundred crushes in your life, and 99% of them will stay just that. Just enjoy your private thoughts of him if getting together isn't an option. Take those good feelings you get from thinking about him and keep them for yourself, those are feelings no one can take from you. Good luck!

I've been there too. Tell yourself that you will think about him for another couple of minutes, and then change your thoughts to something else, an activity you enjoy, or some great pair of shoes you want to try on. Be kind to yourself. I find that when I do these things, I feel less focused on the man, and I keep my positive energy from spilling out and leaving me lost and insecure!

You can find someone else to like and distract you. You can envision them doing something gross, like using the restroom or something. (Okay, before I hear about that, yes I know it is crude but it does work!) You can also find a way to be around him less and less. This has the effect of getting your mind off him long enough to not crave him as much.

Look for things that you DON'T like in a guy. Things that will turn you OFF! or just start imagining things b/c girl, you deserve more worthy times than just to fantasize about a guy when he's not even interested in you! When it's your time to find your "prince-charming" he'll come to you, not you goin to him, girl!
g'luck! :)

There is nothing you can do. Just try to avoid seeing him as much as possible. Eventually you will find another man that you enjoy looking at and who also enjoys looking at you. Good luck.
