Muslims showed more "outrage" worldwide over the silly cartoon drawings of Muhammad. But no public outrage over the daily acts of Islamic terrorists? Shouldn't you be more "outraged" by the fact that Islamic terrorists are representing your "peaceful" religion?

Oh, so it's the "media's" fault? Wow, I was unware of this massive, global, Islamic "protest" where "peaceful" Muslims worldwide are protesting "against" Islamic terrorists. Where can I see this worldwide Islamic "protest-footage" you speak of since the "media" won't show it?

Ha! Who are you all trying to kid? Yourselves? -- This false illusion that Islam is "a religion of peace" is contradicted by the daily violent actions of Muslims who call it "peaceful". Obviously, actions speak louder than words. It's too bad that people are guillible and blind to believe that Islam is "peaceful". Who are you trying to kid? What a BIG lie. I dare any of you Muslims to try and leave your religion. Or better yet, have any of you met an Atheist from an islamic country lately? You're all enslaved to Islam for fear of your lives.

Because they DON'T condemn the terrorism. Their "holy" book tells them to murder, rape, torture and kidnap anyone who doesn't convert to islam. And their Imams ans Mullahs praise these cowards who murder the innicent then go hide behind the skirts of old women and behind small children.

In all fairness, I think we should recognize the fact that many of them did!?!?

The Muslims of USA issued a fatwa against terrorism!?!?

The President of India, a Muslim, condemned Terrorism!?!?

So many others, prominent Muslims, also did so!?!?

Only, they didn't get as much coverage as the Hate Rally did, though!?!?

Fact is that less people displayed their "outrage" at the cartoon than those that condemned the Terrorists, but then, guess what was more newsworthy????

I ain't no fan of Islam, as most people here know, but I would be fair about them when it comes to the Truth!?!?

Ummm, Doug, buddy, unfortunately, they've got it right on this one!?!?

You can read the CAIR document for yourself here : http://www.cair.com/html/911statements.html

This will show you of the solidarity American Muslims showed for the victims of 9/11 : http://groups.colgate.edu/aarislam/response.htm

The Muslims of Norway held a torchlit parade protesting against Terrorism and distanced themselves from the Terrorists : http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article924678.ece

There are, literally, hundreds, if not thousands of such recorded condemnations and protests and most of them are sincere; so I couldn't bring myself to say they didn't all condemn it too!?!?

Fact is that many Muslims are modernizing, nowadays and moving away from the bad stuff there!!!!

However, I still feel that Islam is a dangerous thing because the mad mullahs can control them!?!?

Now, there, I agree with you, Doug. They dare not become murtads or leave Islam because that's Death!?!?

And their Laws are really sick!?!? And there's no denying that Mohammad was anything but a Saint!?!? He was a proven pedophile!?!?

the worry on right this is in case you attempt to describe how the media works, I presume interior the US as interior the united kingdom, the brainwashing has worked on them. I hate how an entire team of folk are vilified simply by severe minority. the click has truthfully no pastime in publishing/exhibiting Muslims condemning the terrorists. The tabloid press in Britain is an absolute shame, a breeding floor for racism, homophobia and Islamaphobia. i'm an atheist and as such have truthfully no love for Islam nor Christianity or the different faith yet i'm very much shocked at truthfully the hatred in this internet site for Muslims. The Koran would perhaps have barbaric practices however the Bible is purely as undesirable and likely, some theocracies interior the middle East and the Taliban are a shame yet this is plenty extra to do with patriarchal and medieval thinking. I actual have Muslim acquaintances and Christian acquaintances. My Muslim acquaintances get actual scared while the tabloid press prints its nasty stuff and that i'm ashamed. And by the style, I lost a chum interior the worldwide commerce middle on 9/11 so you may be thumbed down for attempting to make a rational fact approximately Islam truly depresses me. It depresses me extra when I see so-referred to as (and that i actual advise "so-referred to as") Christians on R & S being so hateful and vindictive. As an atheist, I actual have extra compassion and much less hate in my coronary heart than them.

I think Muslims were right to be outraged by the insulting cartoons. Nobody should take the freedom to insult as the freedom of the press! What was a pity is the political recuperation that was made by the Muslim world of all this. As for Islamist terrorism, I think the righteously thinking Muslim associations should do more, much more to dissociate themselves from this. Non-Muslims could also do much more to distinguish between Muslims and Islamists ! To be honest, I think that righteous Muslims are as much victims of Islamists, as the non-Muslims are, and perhaps even more so because outsiders confuse one with the other !

I have to agree the the first answerer. In terms of the media headlines like Islamic outrage over cartoons is a better headline over the likes of Islams outraged over Islamic terrorists

Why don't the media show a history document on how the west screwed the Islamic society in the past? That is why these these muslim people are very angry with the West, and they are still suffering today.

Actually, a lot of muslims DO people speak out against the radical Muslims. Examples, are Islamic Scholars like Dr. Zakir Naik.

But events like WTC, Londing Bombing, and everything else is obviously much propogated and pronounced in the media. Compared to this, who wants to hear someone dissing these acts of terrorism?

Islam doesn't advocate terrorism.

I agree it's pretty funny behavior for a "religion of peace." Of course, even if they DID denounce the extremists, it wouldn't mean a thing, since their "prophet" says it's perfectly OK for them to lie to non-Muslims.

They do. Community leaders speak out against the fundamentalists wackos when the doo hits the fan. But mainstream news will not broadcast it. It doesn't sell.

Shouldn't you as a Christian be more outraged that your religion supports ethnic cleansing on the false belief it will ressurect Jesus?

what do you expect from people that follow a so called prophet who teaches beheading, stoning, cutting of peoples hands and feet, beating women, allowed raping of slaves and many other horrid things we read in the Quran and Haddith's.
Mohammed to them is a role model for all people and all times.
