I'm pretty pale and have dark circles but want to dye my hair DARK brown or black. Will it look bad on me? Is there a free site where I can load my pic and try different colors and cuts?

Black hair will only make you look whiter, and bring more attention to the dark circles. I would stay with a light brown or something.

It depends what you define as bad, but it definitely will make you look more pale (think Morticia Addams)... goth, emo, etc. Black or dark brown is too harsh in my opinion. I personally was born with very fair skin and medium golden brown hair and I colored it dark brown and my skin didn't look so good. Also consider that if you don't like the color it's impossible to get out without bleaching your hair, which causes damage. I'd say to try out wash-out color, but that stuff sticks in hair forever too, especially if you go as dark as black.
There are a couple sites out there that you can upload your pic... I can't remember the URLs offhand, though. Maybe iVillage has one?
I warn against it, few people look good with black hair... most people I see with black hair look scary and that they're trying too hard. Just my 2 cents.

Dark black sounds better! Pale colour, which is "weak" in appearence, goes well with strong colour, such as black and the combination of two produce an outstanding personality. Dark circles on your skin can be eigther complementary or covered with make up on your face.
There are a lot of celebs in this combination.
You would look terrific in dark black hair!

Yes I 've used the www.clairol.com website, it has a section called the "try it on studio" I think. You should be able to upload your own pic and try lots of differnt hairstyles and colors.
And by the way my skin is kinda fair and my hair is naturally dark brownish-black, so I'm sure you'll look nice with that too ;)
