Does it mean he did not get to go to the Celestial Kingdom?
He was shot after shooting and killing two men.(Yes,self -defense,but even in the footsteps of Jesus,he knew he was to die that day.Why kill two men before you can die by blood atonement as a ceremony if it is what you believe.)I am confused on this issue. Also,Emma did NOT like or believe in polygomy. He was not being a loving husband by doing this painful crime against her will.It makes me sad for her,but also angry. Can we get angry here?

There is no such thing as a celestial kingdom. Smith was lynched because he debauched almost every woman in town. Considering the extent to which the BoM condemns whoredom and unfaithfulness, this is somewhat surprising.

Joseph Smith was somewhat proud (that was something he had to deal with his whole life), but inside was a good man.

Emma chose not to follow Brigham Young and the other apostles to Utah primarily because of the polygamy issue. However, I would say that polygamy shouldn't even play a part in your decision to stay in the Church or to leave it, and here's why:

Even after Christ's coming, polygamy was practiced in the primitive Church. That's why Paul had to specify that Bishops must only have 1 wife, so that they have the ability to take care of the Church of God instead of their many wives.

Just about every world religion has at some time or another allowed polygamy (Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism). I'm not saying it's right or wrong, just that it shouldn't make a difference in your decision.

Yes, Joseph Smith killed two men right before dying. Mormon settlers in many camps were forced to kill in defense of their lives when being intruded upon. Even though he knew he was going to die, it is a reflex to defend one's own life, and if Jesus resisted it, it is obviously because He was the Son of God and our Savior. Joseph Smith was not.

Don't make your decision based on emotional moods; they will often change in your life. Decide based on what brings you happiness and a good conscience before God.
