the only different you never mention a christian man did it. but you will be so excited to say "a muslim man did it". that's how unfair you can be. Islam, this beautiful religion protects our rights and our women. leave Islam alone, we already know its the true word from our lord.

Personally when I am around other women and they are not Muslim they are shocked to know how spoiled I am by my husband and to learn that this is how all Muslim women are to be treated.
My only job is to take care of my sons. I am currently taking classes at a local university for my Masters degree. When at home i only do what I want to help my husband. I do not cook, instead my husband does or he takes the family to dinner. Most mornings I receive breakfast in bed. I do not worry about any of the house hold bills, although I do work. The money I make is mine alone and I do as I wish with it. Every time my husband is payed he brings me flower. I receive gifts for no reason. I am loved and respected by my husband and teaching my 2 sons to grow up to do the same with their future wives.

The fact that they never mention that it was a Christian man who did it and do label the Muslim man is unfortunate, but explainable. People tend to point things out about people that are different from themselves. Since the majority of the west are white Christians, that detail tends to be left out because it is assumed.
However, isn't there an irony of accusing people of making accusations about the Muslim home? As long as the Muslim wife enjoys her life, I don't really care. My mother was a housewife because she thought that's where a women's place, and that was fine, it's not unusual.
But please don't accuse us ALL of being ignorant.
*I would like to point out that you did use the word "women" in the possessive tense. That would be a good place to make a minor adjustment if you want to avoid the accusations that I know so many want to give.*

Women getting severely beaten, abused, raped etc has nothing to do with Islam. In fact, those has nothing to do with any religion that I know of. But human love to stereotype. I am a Muslim husband and I've been told on how to treat my wife. I was taught by my religious teachers that under Islam, "beating the wife" must be done in strict way not to cause pain but to remind our wife of any wrongdoing. That "beating" must not be harmful, painful or leave any marks and other conditions that I won't mind if my wife want to do same to me 100 times a day. Causing pain to your wife simply means you are committing sin.

I think MOM is GOD. & to be a MOM it is first most importent thing is that there must existence of women. So how women is treated bad either Muslim or Hindu or any. specially when she plays a role of Ma....Pyari Maaa........ I Know we all love Ma. Nobody has right to treat women bad. Most Christians say muslims treat their women badly. There are a lot of Christians out there committing adultery, and this is a good treatment to their women.

Yeah it is so true. I agree with you so much. My family is not muslim, although I have been muslim for 5 years. But all my friend's famlily, and mother more specifically, are treated really well. They actually have everything they could ask for. Cell phones, cars&licenses, nice big house, many have jobs (professional jobs)... That's good you know !!

So, what's an honor killing? What's the deal with a woman not being able to go out in public unless accompanied by a male (even if it's her own son)? What about the girl's school in Mecca that was allowed to burn down, killing 15 teenaged girls and injuring 50 more, because the girls werent wearing the proper headdresses? What's the penalty for adultery, again, is it the same as the penalty for rape (death)?

Bad treatment of women has nothing to do with Islam. Islam is against bad treatment of women. It is the men themselves that chooses to threat their women bad, not islam.
