Yes it is considered a sin - and rightfully so. I have been involved in suicides of close friends and it is never the right way out. Things always get better no matter how bleak they appear.

From how i have read the Bible and my experience with the Holy Spirit I do think it is a sin. Anything that destroys what God Almighty has created, a person's body, is a sin. It is our choice to kill ourselves but it is not what Jesus Christ would want us to do. Killing ones self does not glorify God just as killing someone else does not glorify God. If killing someone else is a sin thin killing yourself is a sin too.

In Christianity, it is a sin. Regardless of the religion, it is not advised, as you will not escape the circumstances you are attempting to leave behind. They will await you in a future incarnation and will be harder to deal with next time around. Better to deal with these circumstances the first time around than to procrastinate..

Our lives are not our own. They belong to God our Father. It is murder and murder is a very serious sin.

For us to be here and learn life's lessons an awesome price was paid by Christ. Make the best of it. It does have it's rewards if well lived.

It is premeditated murder as it is murdering an image-bearer of God. Murder is a sin. Suicide is also one of the most selfish things anyone could ever do.
