anyways,we(my sis,this dude and I) always used to kick it like homies do,chill,hang out.Ive known him for 13 yrs and i never ever knew....well,i had a little hunch just by the way that he sometimes playfully flirted with me....that he was in love with me...Just now recently we have become closer..As i have gotten older i see him in a different light,now other people(particuraly my fam) acts funny toward me and does not agree with us being together..he says he doesnt want to lose me,no matter who don't like it.He treats me good,cherishes me and i enjoy being around him.Am i going into this blindsided.

yep. but u re still young, so u might lose 1 or 2 years to realise that. well,k of course if u don't have kids u have to hurry cos your biological clock is ticking. mine wasn't ticking when i met a 50 year old dude, i already had 3 kids and wasn't planning more. so it took me 2 years to realize - an age gap is an age gap. and it is serious. now i am searching for someone closer to my age

If you have known him for 13 years, how could you be going into a loving relationship with him "blindsided"? If I were in his position, I would value of this relationship too, it sounds wonderful!
