My Dear Friends,

The time has finally come, and we feel a kind of a feeling that we cannot express at the moment, but never-the-less would like to share it with you. It will be the moment in life for both of us, when we will say "I DO" to each other, and becoming One for the rest of our life.

On this occasion while we exchange our rings as a token of Love for each other, We thought your presence will be required to make it a complete experience for us.

We invite you and your family to witness our first step in matrimony.

[Hope you have found something useful... Congrats N' wishing you a Happy married life in advance]

here is a similar draft of what my invitation said (and yes hubby and I lived together before marriage.)

the honour of your presense is requested at the marriage uniting
my name
&
his name

held such and such day
such and such location

their parents are
my parents name
&
his parents names

dinner and reception to follow such and such location.

It was really simple. Good Luck!
