My friends say it tastes better and good to reduce the soda effect

I have. It actually tastes good, but flat nonetheless. I prefer if there's still soda in it.

i've tried, tastes good..
i read somewhere on the net that adding salt separates CO2 from sprite..
so i guess that it does reduce the soda effect.
I've also tried adding both little bit of salt together with 1 teaspoon of sugar, Also that tastes good for the first time only.

I do it out of habit when I have an upset stomach. My grandma used to always have me do that when I was a kid and I grew up doing it. Also with 7UP.

Never tried it, it sounds a but wrong....like salting your melon before eating it.
