There are three cookbooks that I use with regularity. First, Easy Basics for Good Cooking, second is American's Test Kitchen Cookbook, and third is the one my mom made. I've made a ton of recipes out of all 3 of these books and none have ever failed me. The America's Test Kitchen book is really awesome because it tests different ingredients and let's you know the results. Easy Basics has just the basics in it, I've had it since I was 7 years old and just starting out in the kitchen with my mom. My mom's book is just the family favorites, but still is a great book!

Womans weekly.

It's probably 40 years old but awesome.

Also local schools, community centres, fundraisers, where people send in their favourite simple recipes.

Some kids cooking books are also easy and successful.
