Yoga is a combination of human body, mind ( i.e concentration) and breathing techniques. The way you concentrate on breadth and inhale and exhale is important. It is not advisable to do yoga watching TV or playing vedio games, as the concentration is lost. Yoga should be learned from a trained teacher rather than just seeing and doing it. Beware, doing it in wrong way can be harmful!!

Ok there is nothing wrong with it.
Please let me make that emphatically clear.
The second thing is that your gf recommended it. If she approves, what are you worried about?
Thirdly, Yoga is an indian form of excercise/meditation sort of like pilates. Are you implying all indian men who would have practiced it (and still do) are gay? I think not otherwise, India would not have the second largest population in the world (the first being China).

and finally, if you enjoy it then what care you for what anyone might think? Have the confidence of your own beliefs...its damn sexy to the chicks and damn enviable to the blokes;)

Not at all! I'm a straight guy who does yoga as well. Look at the history of yoga, and you'll see that long before it became popular stateside, it was all the rage in India for the men.

Why would it be wrong? If you like it, do it. It's not like it's gonna make you gay, though I'm sure a lot of guys will start squalling that you must be.

Come back and ask us if you're wrong after you've hijacked some old lady's car and robbed a bank while transporting a kidnapped minor across state lines.

i think what you're doing is beyond good...yoga has been around for thousands of years and its primary objective is to conditioned the body for long term benefits...the confusion of whether a straight guy should do it or not probably because in today's society females are more into yoga because of their natural body flexes thus makes yoga looked beautiful and rather feminine...but who cares, legend has it that yoga was created by an Indian man...do we need to elaborate more?...

No, it isn't wrong, but yoga?? I don't even do yoga, I think it's cheesy and faddish.....I run four miles every day after I drop my kids off for school. I never saw how bending oneself could improve cardiovascular health, but that is just me and the rest of the scientific world.....

yoga was invented by men in the frist place. and you shouldn't be ashamed of the practice since it is extremely good for you.

i love yoga myself and, as a girl, i've noticed how many guys are afraid to try the sport due to this"fear of being gay" but this is extremely unfortunate and they're missing out on a good thing.

so guys don't be shy...TRY IT

I'M NOT A LADIE, OR GAY, but I can tell you DDP (Diamond Dallas Page) wrote a book called "Yoga for regular guys". Gets regular tough guys like me strong and flexible(something the ladies love). He even got ROB ZOMBIE in on it, HOORAH.

Whenever I hear a Lady GaGa song I always imagine gay guys dancing in a club to it.
