TWICE a day with a gentle brush,
as to much brushing with a hard brush, will damage the enamel.

Twice or three times a day is usual. If you brush after every meal 3 times is OK. Or once in the morning and once at night does the job. The answer which said you can wear away the enamel on your teeth is correct so be careful.

It depends on how long you brush each time. But,my sister is a fanatic about brushing and now her daughter is. 6 times Is an overkill. You can wear the enamel off you teeth, and watch the gum lime being pushed down or up exposing the nerves.Makes it sensitive to cold maybe?
Maybe brush 3 and floss 3..Just be gentle...But I bet you have a great smile.....

twice a day,do not rinse after as this allows the flouride in the toothpaste 2 take affect, tepes r very good 4 between the gums, alot better than floss, and do not brush ur teeth after drinking fizzy drinks as this encourages the acid in the drink 2 wear away the enamel more

I brush mine 3-4 times a day but just for a minute at a time.
Too much brushing can wear away tooth enamel.

depends if you give them a right good brushing or you just go over lightly to get rid of any excess food.Your gums may become affected from constant friction.I brush about 3 times or if i have something very sugary then i would brush them more.Brushing too hard may also affect the enamel but i cant see it causing any problems.Next time you are in the dentist ask him if he can see any damage that may have been from brushing too hard or too frequent
