Hi guys, i adopted a cat from the street couple of weeks ago... Her belly is swollen... i was thinking its becoz she eats a lot.. but even after couple of hours the swollen belly doesnt go away... And also she sleeps a lot as well.. and she goes to her litter very often.. i'm gonna take her to the vet at my day off, but i wanna know now if she is pregnant or not. How do you guys understand if your little cat is pregnant?

She eats a lot, drinks water a lot, lays down all the time(lazy), she doesnt wanna play or anything, and she goes to toilette maybe in every half an hour..

it walks slow and it has more then 2 nipples on the bottom,

It's that time of year and time for the first litter of the season to be born. She can get pregnant again within a very short time, that is whay it is so important for cat owners to spay and neuter them. It is said they can produce 100 cats in a year. Counting their offspring from the first of the year. That is a lot. So, you will be having a few, hopefully just three or four kittens very soon. Try to find good homes and have her fixed right away, as soon as the vet says ok. Have fun and enjoy...they are my favorite, kittens are the most precious of all. closed eyes and no ears for a few weeks. Soo sweet. Good luck.

the only true way to tell if your cat is pg is to take her to the vet where they will do a kitty pg test. she might have a uti which is very common in cats so please do take her as soon as you can. allso keep a watch on her drinking water as well if she drinks to much theres a problem just as if she is drinking to little. well good luck

she's knocked up. Just love on her, feed her, give her fresh water and a nice place to rest. She'll reward you with kittens soon.
