Shabbos Kalla literally translated is Shabbos of the bride. The Shabbos Kalla is held on the Sabbath before the wedding and only women and girls attend (no men). It is just a celebration for the bride before she goes into marriage and it is a happy time. On the same day the groom has something similar called and Aufruf (pronounces oof roof). It is a bit different, but something on the same line. They do not mix their celebration as they are not allowed to see each other for 7 days before the wedding. :-)

I wouldn't put it past them. They are also one of the groups that throws stones at cars that run through their neighborhoods during Shabbat. I fail to see how that is 1. Jewish and 2. Keeping Shabbat. I think they would violate it, since I sincerely do think that a lot of them hate enough. @ YO - He did claim to be NK. I do specifically remembering such. There is a problem with his claim, though. First, he claims to live in Lebanon, if I'm not mistaken: They are focused in Jerusalem and various other places, but not where he lives. Second, they are a primarily (and seemingly exclusively) Ashkenazic bunch : Nabil is Sephardic Jewish. He might sympathize with them, but most likely he isn't one of them.
