I'm pregnant and 18. I'm married and living with my mom while my husband and I finish school and save some money to move out on our own. It's hard, but I'm lucky that I have help and understanding from my mom, otherwise I'm afraid it would be much more difficult.

yup. Im 16 years old and 36 weeks pregnant. We used condoms everytime and didnt notice any signs of it breaking or anything so it was a big shock. Everything is working out pretty well i guess. right now the only problem is that were in a tough situation with living because were staying with my aunt and her son because of a loooong story and the house we were living in. My babys father is working a reallly good job, hes 18. and soon me my mom and the babys father will be moving into a three bedroom apartment probably a few weeks after he is born. I plan on getting my G.E.D then attending cosmetology school and i'll be working part time.

Birth control of any form doesnt always work. But the teen pregnancy rate is actually lower then it has been in a long time. look it up on google. i found a few things stating that and i just had a class today with healthy families that also stated that the teen pregnancy rate has dropped alot even over the last year.

I had just turned 20 when I got pregnant and I was ON birth control. Had my son right before I turned 21. I was in my last year of college, had to withdraw because I was sick all the time. Everything worked out fine, I guess. I missed out on finishing school, but I wouldn't have ever given him to adoption or anything like that. He'll be 3 in May.

I think it's really sad that girls are getting pregnant as early as 13 or 14 years old. They should have enough common sense to not even be having sex at such a young age, or if they do, to know the potential consequences. It's not the mother so much that I feel bad for, but the children who have to be raised by a child herself.

I was pregnant at 17 and gave birth at 18. My son is now 7 and I am still with his father. You have to remember back in the 1800s it was the norm to get married around 13-15 and start a family. Now a teenager is considered a child and lawfully unable to make life decisions.

Yes...I was 17 and 18 when my son was born. It was hard at first . I had to work and my husband went to College. I was able to go to college his last year at Texas A & M. He graduated a Chemical Engineer and got a great job. I continued going to school after he started working for Dupont. I majored in Music, became a Music teacher, had another son at 24. I wouldn't trade my son for anything. He grounded me and my husband too.He now has 3 sons now of his own. He just turned 37 in January. My younger son is 31 and has 1 son. I'm a happy Nanna.Oh yeah...my son owns his own Computer Company and a Surveillance Company too. He's made me very proud.

My sister was. She was 16. She said that her labor was fast. No pain. But in my culture, it's disrespectful to have a baby out of wedlock. But in today's society, it's common.

Nope, I was too busy working and going to school as a teen...when I was 16 I was emancipated and living on my own. I could barely support myself there was no way I would have been able to support a pregnancy or even pay for an abortion had I made that choice. I wasn't even sexually active until I had to move back home after getting pneumonia...lost my virginity on my parent's livingroom sofa.

I was seventeen when I got pregnant. I had my daughter eighteen days after I turned eighteen. I went through a lot of ups and downs during the pregnancy because, her father wasn't there and for a while, I was shunned by one of my close family members. He eventually was OK with it but, it still effects me to this day. I wouldn't change a thing though because, I love my daughter with all of my soul. She's now sixteen years old and the good thing is, she isn't following in my footsteps.
