By far the best book on Manic Depression is entitled:
A BRILLIANT MADNESS
This book is an autobiography of the actress Patty Duke who has been diagnosed with Manic Depression. The book is well written and entertaining.
Patty Duke will write a chapter, then a lady by the name of: Gloria Lochman will write a chapterf, Ms. Lochman focuses on the medial aspect while Patty Duke's wrtitings are of a more personal nature.
There are a lot of books out there on Bi Polar.
I consider it a priveledge to reccomend this book to you.
It is by far Number One!

Books are great..but they take 12 to 16 months to publish. So purchasing books would not give you the lastest up to date information.
If you are on medication check the drugs web site to see what they say about Bipolar and how there drug treats this condition.
Then visit web sites and read about Bipolar mood disorder and Depression.
If you want you can bookmark the sites on your computer. If you don't know how email me.
You can also print of a copy of the information from each site,
collect a binder full of information to help you understand what you are dealing with.

The best book for you, for guidance and help with your mood disorder, is this: The personal journal you keep of your thoughts and fears. You don't have to write in the book every day, but when you feel something strong and wish you could tell someone, write it down. Or type it on a disk.
Don't try to write a fancy book that you can publish one day. If you did that, it wouldn't be honest. Just make this book the raw, bare truth of what you feel. It will do amazing things for your depression and your anxiety.
Try it. It will work.
