I have been with my boyfriend for over six months and we've been sleeping together for nearly four of those months. I am on a contraceptive pill and he uses condoms everytime we have sex, however, we'd both like to try sex without condoms at some stage in the near future (after all, it definately feels better - in past relationships we've both done this). The only problem is, I'm a bit of a hypochondriac - if there was event the most remote possibility that I was pregnant (say I was a day or two late) I'd worry myself sick.
While I'm confident that the pill would be working at 100% efficacy (as I take it at the same time every day, and don't drink to the point of vomiting) on a physical level, I don't know that I could mentally take the strain. My bf is not pressuring me about this, actually the opposite - he's said he respects my decisions 100%, whatever that are.
Any suggestions or experiences from anyone who's been in mine or my boyfriend's position would be appreciated.

my dear, it could jolly well be that you aren't comfortable trusting those contraceptions. frankly it isn't 100% safe and anything could happen, to say the worst.

**** happens all the time... but you just got to trust, since you have been taking the pills regularly and him, using the condoms.

as far as i've known and tried, they have not failed yet.
if you are still dead worried that you could be pregnant, it would be wise to stop making love. why put yourself in the situation if you are that afraid?

it's always better to keep yourself safe than to succumb to temptation, and get hurt in the end.

additional note:
menses could get delayed, whenever you are stressed out / ill / losing weight, being on pills... etc. and there will always be the possibility of missing a whole cycle, which is pretty common.

dont do it!!!!!...lol it feels better but, it's not worth wondering of your pregnant later, or wondering if you are going to be taking AZT in the near future. i would say heck no!
