60 lbs in 6 months? You can do it, but you'll have to be disciplined.
You need to reduce your overall body fat. There is no magic weight-loss pill, supplement, fad diet, or juice. The ONLY way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn. Brad Pitt didn’t get cut for Fight Club by drinking green tea, and you won’t either.
Walk for 30 minutes every day, including weekends, Mondays, and Fridays. Do at least 30 minutes of weight training each week. Do 60 minutes of additional, higher intensity cardio each week.
Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3 grams trans fat and 3 grams sugars. Throw out all of your ice cream, chips, cookies, cheese, fried foods, bacon, and candy.
Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals. Don’t starve yourself during the day, but if you don't wake up famished, then you ate too much the day before. Stop eating at least two hours before you go to bed.
Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Turn off the TV and the computer. Sleep is vitally important.
Don't consume alcohol—alcohol is nothing more than empty calories with no nutritional value. Some people will argue that alcohol has some health benefits when consumed in moderation—I’m not debating that—but we’re talking about weight loss here. Lay off the booze if you want to lose the belly.
Drink lots of water, then drink more. Not tea, not Gatorade, not milk. Water.
Good luck.

As you start to realize what you are actually putting into your body, hopefully it will make you more aware when you are shopping and read the labels before you buy. Also take note the portion size. Most people don not and think they are eating healthier but are adding to the calorie count by a bigger portion or light products in a much bigger portion.
Secondly, to lose weight fast you must create a deficit in the calories you are taking in. How to lose weight fast: You can do this through diet, but you can actually do more harm if you do it drastically. It is our human nature to survive and our body will respond accordingly. If you don not feed your body enough it will think we are going through a famine and store what it can to survive. When it stores food it is stored as fat.
To do this properly, remove the junk from your diet first. How to lose weight fast: Foods and drinks like sugary snacks and sodas should definitely be eliminated first and secondly processed foods. Then start to look at your portion size. Believe it or not you can have too much of a good thing. After you have done that and are recording your intake, start cutting back a few hundred calories to create a deficit.

I once lost 30lbs in 6 weeks. I'm still amused by it, since I find it hard to diet. What I did was eat around 30 grams of a fiber a day, took a diet supplement/vitamins, tried to eat 100 grams of protein a day, and under 100 grams of carbs a day.
I would go for a 45 minute walk before breakfast, eat a big bowl of measured out Total with Fiber One, and then do an hour of cardio.
Oh, and for munchies (which is always my biggest problem) munch on some light popcorn! A bag of light popcorn is usually 120 calories.
The combination of the fiber, lots of protein and keeping myself busy by taking a walk alot and working out was what helped me.

"I'm getting married"
I don't think your beloved cares to much about your 5'3 200lbs frame, if it was an issue, you would not be talking about getting married. why don't you talk to them about it?
But losing weight is healthy so...here are some easy things you can do
*watch what you eat.
*walk instead of drive whenever possible.
*park in a far away spot instead of a close spot.
*take the stairs instead of the elevator/escalator (if it is safe, i know a few scary stairwells).
*try and devote 15 min of every day to exercise, it could be your favorite crunches, or perhaps a walk around town, or something else you think of...
if all else fails and you are really that vain..i guess you could go for liposuction, but that is just a tad extreme, and I am sure your signifigant other would agree with me.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

it's not going to happen unless you free up some more time to exercise. a lack of exercise is what got you into trouble and only an increase in the level of activity will get you going in the right direction.
exercise increases insulin sensitivity which in most will cause a decrease in insulin secretion after meals. insulin is a storage hormone, it's role is to metabolize nutrients and transport them into both muscle and fat cells. muscle cells become insulin resistant, fat cells do not. when insulin levels are kept low and stable over the course of the day skeletal muscle can continue to metabolize fatty acids for energy.
45-60 minutes of walking, light cardio, etc. 4-5 days a week. you can walk 30 min in the am and 30 in the pm.

Do you have 30 minutes of free time in your day to day activities?
If so, you have time to get a lot done. 30 minutes of jogging/walking/running 3-4 times a week plus your diet should yield some better results for you.
