Depends if it consists of a camera body that can accept different lenses. If the lens is fixed, even if it zooms, it's not a digital SLR. A digital SLR is just like a SLR that uses film, except that the area of the film plane has been replaced with a CCD digital image sensor, typically with 8 or 10 million elements (Pixels). Like in a film SLR, a mirror flips up when the picture is taken, so that the image sensor can be exposed, but when the mirror is down, the exact scene can be viewed parallax-free though an optical viewfinder.
I believe Hasselblad now has one with 22 million pixels, but the camera costs about $27,000.

SLR wantabe.
A SLR is a camera that has a mirror that flips up and exposes the sensor or film for a period of time. SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex. The SLR gives the photographer more control over the camera than a normal point and shoot camera. It also has better picture quality over P&S cameras because it has a larger sensor. There are fix lens SLR's but most are inchangable lenses.

I'm not familiar with that model. But a digital SLR is a camera with a single lens reflex (SLR) mirror that allow you to view the exact same image through the optical viewfinder as the lens sees, because you are actually looking through the camera lens.
One of the main features of cameras of this type is interchangeable lenses. The Canon and Nikon systems also have a vast array of accessories that are available to tailor the camera to the type of shooting you plan to do.

from WIKIPEDIA
A digital single-lens reflex camera (digital SLR or DSLR) is a digital camera that operates on the same optical and mechanical principles as a modern electronic autofocus 35mm film single-lens reflex camera. The key difference is that the film is replaced with a CCD or CMOS image sensor plus accompanying electronics, thus creating images digitally in-camera, without the need to first chemically develop a latent image on film.
