I'll presume you're asking about borderline personality disorder. The medications are prescribed to target specific symptoms and may be antidepressants, mood stabilizers and/or antipsychotics. Both group and individual therapy are a mainstay in treating BPD and one type of individual therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), is showing great promise.

Hi! If you're referring to bipolar mood disorder, well, I am one of those who were diagnosed with such an illness 2 months ago. But ooppsss, don't worry, there are many mdications available and believe me, it is very much treatable. Go to your nearest and trusted Doctor near you and consult her/him for the best possible medications he/she can give you.
I assure you, you will be fine. Just follow your doctor's advice and take your medications reliegiously. And...... be patient!!! You will be well. I am very fine now!! God bless you.

Schizophrenia meds are citalopram and olanzapine, they seem to work well even at the max dose for each.
