a sense of humor, great hygene, talented and passionate about something, pretty happy go lucky, good clothing style, intelligence, kindness and most importantly similar beliefs. Have all these and I'm sure the girls will want you!

Picture what you like about yourself, first of all.....then, those girls that would not agree with that picture are out of the question. Do you like sports, news, politics, adventure, social settings, etc. Pick someone you know that has some similar interests with you, that way, once you ask her out on that date you have tons to talk about.
Also, those girls that are into themselves would not be a good date unless you have tons of money, sorry to say. By that, I mean, like, the popular ones, totally :-)
You seem like a nice young man, my daughter is into the dating realm and she ends up meeting nice guys who are just willing to talk with her and are not out to impress anyone but just are able to communicate with her. My husband has only dissaproved of one guy so far, but that is because he wore all black and had this black ski cap into our house...he asked me, "is he in a gang or something?" lol.
Some guys go overboard with their identity, but be yourself. Don't be or say you are anything that you are not. My daughter likes being with people that like to just "hang out" with her and not really do anything special in particular,,,,,she does have good taste, though, and likes going to steakhouses on dates....although we go rarely. It's just her personality.

If your still young you should focus on your studies but it doesnt mean you cant have a girlfriend but just dont spend 24 hrs on the phone or anything like that, so back on your question you want a girlfriend? ask yourself do you like anyone first of all? if you do ask her out?
