I love this guy that I am with and I really try to let him know I love him! He is the most important guy to me other than my dad and son and I don't think that he really knows how wonderful he is! He has been through so much and I most of the time don't care what he has done I just love him so much! I cook, clean, do laundry, take care of the kids and all that women stuff and he does all that man stuff! Work pay bills and is an active partner in our family life. He truly is Mr. Wonderful! Don't get me wrong there are things that I don't like but even than that's nothing compared to what a ton of women have to put up with! I just don't know what more to do to make him realize how much he means to me! I feel so lucky to have someone this special in my life! I know someone is going to day just tell him this but I have and I think that he just won't accept it! He puts himself down so much secretly! I can see it! Nobody else can! I just want him to wake up and see he's amazing!

You're right about telling him, Michelle. But I'm not sure if you're talking about some depression here or just an overly developed sense of modesty. One of the hardest things for anyone to do is acknowledge that they're pretty good. If that's his problem, a high degree of modesty, then don't worry about it. Keep telling him and showing him as you have been doing. If, on the other hand, he is putting himself down in the sense that he is depressed, it may be that he needs counseling/therapy. If you think therapy might help, you might ask him for advice about the husband of a girlfriend of yours who has a husband who is...[here you describe your own hubby]. Tell him the wife wants her H to try therapy and what does he think about it and how would he suggest the other wife get her H to go? I may be way off here so let me simply congratulate you and celebrate you for your wonderful attitude about your marriage. It is certainly refreshing.

well why dont u write him a poem from ur heart or make a cd for him with love songs....if u want and can write poems then do both of them together....they both come from ur heart and he will c that u r seriously in love with him and he will no what u think of him.
