I know what ur going through. At 13, you are not yet ready to completely full on say you love someone. It is great that you fel that way,but it is to early to tell her you LOVE her. Keep going out with her if possible, and get to know all you can about her. You will know when the time is right for saying you love her. I know this from my own experience, stating that I'm 2 years younger than you (6th Grade, and yes, I really am), and like someone. Completely pay attention when she is talking to you, and remember what is said. Talk about your personal experiences, and your side of the story. Get in as many conversations as possible, but make sure not to only talk to her. Have some diversity. (Get her something nice for Valentine's Day) Hope this helps.

Logan, being in love at 13 is one of the greatest and saddest and most wonderful and most painful and most difficult things in the world. It's great. Good for you. The nice thing about being in love at 13 is that it's very intense, very deep and meaningful, and you don't have the opportunity to do much about it. Except hold hands and talk. I envy you the love you are feeling. Enjoy.

Don't second guess yourself. If you feel love for this girl, then you love her. You are going to love many, many people over the course of your life, and you'll begin to learn how to that with this girl most likely. Don't think that she is the only one, but do experince this feeling, because your first love is always special to you, no matter how many you love in the coming years. Have fun.

I've seen (and known) 2 couples that dated at 14 and ended up marrying each other at 23.
It is possible to be in love but both people needs to share the same feelings.

oh sweety, Im not sure that you know what love is yet... It could be puppy love, like you really like her a lot and care for her, but I dont think its TRUE love.. This is normal for your age, as you grow older you will realize what true love really is.... Be careful that you dont throw the words "I love you" around too much until you really know what true love is. When you find true love you will deffenatly know it! Have fun and good luck!

Most likely it's obsession/infatuation/puppylove. It's strong, but unless there's honest mutual understanding between two people could you call it true love. For example, the feeling dies, but you know you'll always care for her and make her happy.
