My husband falls asleep in seconds, but I can't sleep. When I go to my parents house, I fall asleep pretty fast. It's almost like I don't feel safe at my own house. I dont' get it.

It may be that you feel safer there. Your parents were your security for most of your life. I would need to know how long you have been married. If it's been a short time and you haven't been away from home all that long, you might just have to get used to being there and feeling safe. Your husband is your security now.

Its probably your because of your husband and maybe you fear him doing something to you while you are asleep. At your parents house you maybe feel more protected and safe.

It's weird, isn't it? I can't sleep in my bed...but if I lay on the couch, I'm out like a light in seconds. I wish I had an answer because I'm getting pretty irritated.

there may not be ghosts there but there could have been some thing tramatic happen there that left an imprint that you feel....also sleeping at your parents house gives you a sense of security like when you were little
