Chinese people use thread to remove facial hair. I will write more if you are interested. ;D

Guys your answers are cool and inspirational! I am beginning to feel why yahoo answer is so popular!

Here in mainland China it is popular to go to a threading lady who will uses a single thread, twisted into a shape of scissors with the one end in between her teeth and the the others into her hands. your facial hair is removed with the thread scissors moving.
This is called Kailian in Chinese. Chinese young women used to get threading right before their wedding, kinda like todays wedding make up and facial work. Nowadays it has become a popular hair romoval method and it is all natural and faster than when you use your hands ;D!

Natural hair removal? Rip it out with your bare hands, don't get more natural then that!

It is called Threading. It can be done on any part of your face or even the whole face. And it is believed that the hair that grows after the hair removal would be finer.

Chinese is only one of those that does it. Indians also do it as well. I got mine facial hair removal every six months in an indian salon.

However, if the person has very low pain threshold, it's not advisable because one has to endure the pain when the hair is being removed in this method of hair removal.

;) I'm in Hong Kong and i go threading (for shaping my eyebrows) once in 2 weeks. Not by Chinese, but by the Nepalese.

The Nepalese parlours in Hong Kong do it better than the Chinese.
