Loan-wise I don't have any particularly good advice [a lot depends on your income/assets/etc] but you might want to try asking reputable doctors in your area if they handle pro bono cases.

If I were you, I'd call Extreme Makeover. I've seen them pay for the same surgery before. It's worth a shot!

4000 or 40,000? I just received a 5000 dollar loan from my bank and I'm using it for surgery. That's my only suggestion, surely it's not 40,000 good luck if it is.

Congulations on losing the weight I know that it was hard to do. You might check with some of the drs. and see if they would do it for free or a lesser charge.

YIPPIE FOR YOU THAT IS WONDERFULL. I WOULD CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTOR TO SEE WHAT YOU PLAN OF INSURANCE MIGGHT OFFER. OR I HAVE CAPITAL ONE CREDIT AND THEY OFFER CREDIT FOR MEDICAL.
