Punter Take your pick of Bibles you will find the atonement is in them all. All who believe in the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ would be considered the body of Christ that is referred to in the Bible. I say the Bible because which ever is your preference they a teach this same atonement it is the same word of God that was brought by Moses the Gospel did not call the word of God corrupt nor did it seek to change his words. the Gospel is in agreement with the words of the prophets. Isiah 53 is a prophesy of the Messiah and your Qu'ran does agree that Jesus is the Messiah perhaps you might be interested in reading what the prophets of God had to say about him? I see form your previous questions you have already found agreement with the words of Jesus when he said the only sign an aduteropus generation would receive is the sign of Jonah. This is real good prophesy of his resurrection you can see that Jesus was in agreement with the prophesies of him atoning for your sin. Your own Qu'ran has agreed that the Gospel was given to him and he was in agreement with the previous scripture. So you really are left wihtout argument that Jesus did atone for sin. You have his word previous words of the prophets and Even Allah himself saying these are his words and Jesus came to confirm these prior scriptures...and in the Bible you see very well Jesus did exactly this. Now Isiah teaches this Messiah would atone for sin and he would pay the penalty of death...Now ask yourself if the Quran teaches Jesus was in agreement with this and the Bible shows Jesus is in agreement wiht this...Why does Allah say he took Jesus up and that people were made to believe the crucifiction...After all the agreeign with these scriptures and Jesus then he seems to contradict himself...did you ever wonder why God named Jesus (Yeshua) salvation in his native language. Mat 1:21 explains it was because he would save his people from their sin. This is in agreement wiht the teachings of the prophets thousands of years prior to the birth of Jesus...So according to your Qu'ran this is all good and Jesus was aware of it and was in agreement with it and according to the Bible Jesus was aware of previous scripture and came to fufill it...Jesus himself even quoted Isaiah This all adds up to the fact that the crucifiction which not only is scriptural but also historical actually happened and then you have to wonder why does the Qu'ran treach that Allah prevented it from happening? Same God right? Allah says so right? This revealtion was around for thousands of years before the birth of Jesus...which was 600 years before the Qu'ran God is all knowing right? Why is allah agreeing wiht this revealtion and still denying it happened? It was scriptural before the Quran and Allah being an all knowing God had to be aware of it....Say to the people of the book we agree wiht the revealtion handed down to you...Your God is our God...6:114, 115 tells you he is the author of the book and his word can not be changed...Add this up and see if any way you can find an answer to this delema? Jesus Christ did pay for your sin and Satan is trying to cheat you out of it...May God bless you.

As long as the world turns around and around different cultures will practice different religions. The USA was founded on "Freedom of Religion".Most countries practice the same principle. There will never be one religion for all on this planet. If you are a Christian, you worship Jesus Christ the son of the one and only God.If you are a Muslim you worship Allah and follow the teachings of the prophet Mohamed.Buddhist follow Buddha.Etc,etc, etc, I know some believers who can not read one word, but yet they believe in the God of their understanding, and live a very spiritual life.Peace!!

Does the Quran say wich sect of Islam is correct?
What most people think of as different religions, Catholicism, Baptist, Jehovah's Witness, etc., are really just sects of Christianity. And the Bible says that to follow Jesus Christ is correct, just as every religious text says that it's religion is the one true religion. It wouldn't make sense to base a faith around a book that said you were wrong..

I'm sure Islam is the only religion acceptable to Allah. But then Allah is not God. It is not about a formal "religion" it is about a living relationship with Jesus Christ. There is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved - Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. There is no religion acceptable to God there is only a Person - one Person - Jesus Christ. Christianity is listed as a religion among the peoples of the world but in reality it is not a "religion" it is a "living relationship with Christ." Gods Word - the Holy Bible KJV, NIV, living, new living, etc etc.

How can you be sure the Quran is true? Memorized by different men, most of it written down many years after his death. Early copies have been burned.
Christians have the assurance of 24'000 copies of the new Testament more than any other scripture in history. All copies of the NT have the same core message:
Salvation by the grace of God through Jesus with assurance of eternal life.

obviously every religion says it is the best one, if it didn't...then there would be no followers of that religion.
it is up to an individual to make the determination that a religion truly lives up to the hype.
to actually answer your question...pretty much any copy of the bible you pick up will say that christianity is the proper choice...of course at the time the books were written, there was only one church...

How is it possible that Allah addresses humanity saying "Allah", did the early non believer know God as ALLAH?
YES.
ALLAH: ALLAH is the proper name in Arabic for The One and Only God, The Creator and Sustainer of the universe. It is used by the Arab Christians and Jews for the God (Eloh-im in Hebrew; 'Allaha' in Aramaic, the mother tongue of Jesus, pbuh). And in Hinduism God is known as Allah in Rigveda bk2 hym1 v11, Rigveda bk3 hym30 v10, Rigveda bk9 hym67 v30. And there is a separate Upanishad named Alloh Upanishad. The word Allah does not have a plural or gender. Allah does not have any associate or partner, and He does not beget nor was He begotten.
