I just want to learn more about your country and your way of life. I want to know everything about American culture. Myself and friends will enjoy living and working with you. Are there any Muslim Temples in most cities?

There are several mosques in my area (suburban Dallas) and this area of the coutry is considered the "Bible Belt", where most people are strict Christians.

I hope you get to discover the beautiful side of America and its people. Most of us are very open to learning more about your culture, heritage and religion. I am a 9/11 survivor and I would be very interested in learning more since there is little information available to non-Muslims here.

I always thought that the Muslim "churches" were considered Mosques. If you are not trolling...then I would have to tell you that yes in most well populated cities and town there are mosques. I would also have to tell you that by the arrogant nature of some of your previous questions....you are indeed asking for a passionate response from all kinds of people. If you want to learn more about our culture. You should full well know that people are sometimes misguided by hate or fear....and that is why you are getting angry responses. If you are genuine, then type in American culture in your search bar then read everything that pops up. You will have a lot of hits. First and foremost I would suggest that you learn a lot about how our country came to be. The Revolutionary war, the Civil War...learn, read and do your best to memorize the Constitution. If you think about it we, The American society have worked for a modest 200 years or so to become the country and civilization that most others want to be a part of.
Keep in mind that this great but human society is literally a melting pot of many cultures, religions and freedoms. I would say that any one who wants to be a U.S. citizen should keep their ways but also accept all of the ways of all that were here before them. That is the beauty of it all!!!!

you must understand that there are a lot of Americans who have strong opposition to Muslims due to the situation in the middle east. a lot of us hate for the wrong reasons so ignore those who get angry because there are a lot of us who will treat you fairly and if you ask a decent question you are sure to get a decent answer. Muslim temples--not in my town but usually in every major city. Here are a few things you might be interested in about America: 1.french fries are bad for you therefore they are good and cold fries suck. 2. not all of us own a gun but we have the right to have one 3. "what's up? How's it going and yo are all acceptable forms of greeting 4. not all of us are wealthy
if you come over here I hope you will have fun, learn all you can
and teach what you can to your new friends.

To ask a question is to essensially ask for something. You're asking them to do something for you, which requires their time and energy. On an emotional level, they feel this and naturally get angry. How would you like to be told to unwillingly mow the lawn every day. This is an extreme example, but it gets the point across. Instead of asking questions, talk about your enthusiasm for learning american's culture, and how it contrasts with your own. If the enthusiasm rubs off on them, it would make for a perfect opportunity to exchange in dialogue about your differing culture.

I think this is a joke of some kind. Jews have Temples, Muslims have Mosques. Most large cities have Mosques and temples.

Be sure to leave your suicide belt at home when you go.

Others would produce different causes, inclusive of interest loss, no earnings to purchase presents for his or her youngsters or furnish them Christmas dinner, no money to purchase gasoline to bypass visit their households. perhaps some people have lost a number of their faith and are basically trouble-free indignant at God. there's a mess of causes. perhaps it may well be a more beneficial advantageous question to ask is: Why are the type of marvelous number of persons asking fairly indignant questions about Yahoo solutions this evening? i am going to guess you receives many more beneficial solutions.
