If you go to www.irs.gov they will provide you with free tax services, but you have to make I believe it was less than $52,000 a year. I did that this year and I went through turbotax after visiting the IRS website.

I have used Turbo Tax online for the past several years, and pay my $19.95 and have found it to be worth it.

You can find lots of companies at the IRS.GOV site that you can file free with but if you have more then a couple of W-2 forms than I wouldn't recommend it.
