A black dog stands in the middle of an intersecton in a town painted black. None of the street lights are working due to a power failure caused by a storm. A car with two broken headlights drives towards the dog but turns in time to avoid hitting him. How could the driver have seen the dog in time?

It was daytime. The sun was up and the driver could probably see everything.

the little lights in the road their called cats eyes they were discovered in the 80's i think and there was no light and then a cat was in the road and a car almost hit it but the ight from the cats eyes gave him an idea so they inveneted cats eyes for dangerous journies or power difficulties (cats eyes did not take power it was hit by the satteleite)
