i don't see where the "head" of the zit is. it's right behind my ear. its about the size of a penny, and quishy...and hurts so bad. its been tehre for about a week now. what do i do?!?!?!

It could be a sebaceous cyst. Those pretty commonly form behind the ears and at the nape of the neck. It's a collection of oils and skin cells. The other posters were right...use a warm compress. You might even try a warm used tea bag, the tannic acid will help bring the cyst to a head. If it breaks, keep it clean and lightly covered with a small piece of gauze. If it doesn't open up in another 2-3 days, see your doc and they can take care of it pronto.

The first answerer was a putz wit his "masturbate" suggestion, but he was right about the warm compress. Take a washcloth, run it under water as hot as you can stand it, and apply it as a warm compress for about 10 minutes. Repeat this every hour that you can, and soon the lesion will come to a head and drain. Keep it clean while it drains.
If it becomes infected, see a doctor immediately!

It's probably some kind of a cyst...the hair follicle or the pore just gets inflamed and it doesn't come to a surface. I would just go to a doctor and they can get rid of it for you!
