there are only two options... getting back together, or moving on. distracting your self with a hobby will not get your mind off of her. get dressed up nice and go to a club or bar... there will be plenty of other girls there to get your mind off of her. if that doesnt work, then you are destin to be w/ ur ex. do everything you can think of to get her back. the sky is the limit, be creative! (honestly, if you have been together for 4 years, i think u guys were ment to be. what ever went on to cause u 2 break up, u can look past it.)

if getting back together is not a viable option you need to take control of that nagging voice inside your head and tell yourself that it's over. what you're going through right now is relationship withdrawal. well, the only way to get over that is to not have contact with the person in question. as time goes by, you'll think about her less and less. it's definitly going to be hard, but that's probably the only way. it probably doesn't seem like it now, but it will get easier. the problem with break ups is you always end up questioning your decision and second guessing whether you made the right choice. that's because when we look back on our relationships we tend to idealize them and only remember the good things. you need to think about what your relationship was REALLY like, and why you guys broke up. if it has something to do with you, then learn from it and don't make the same mistake again. leave the past in the past and move on to better things.

Why did you break up with her? Try thinking about the bad things if you don't want to get with her and If you want her back and you really do and she wants to be with you, you should think about marriage cause four years is a long dating relationship! I think it's time to take a **** or get off the toliet like they say! Committ or move on!

Well do you want to really get back together with her or do you want to do it so you will feel better? I know personally its hard to get over something like that. It will take a long time to get over it, trust me on this. Just do things you love doing. If you DO want to get back with her, just sit her down and talk to her about it, and tell her your honest feelings. Good luck!

i been in a relationship for two years and broke up! its was soo hard! i was angry, upset, and felt so empty inside. but you learn how to cope with everything just learn to accept that it wasnt meant to be and you will be fine! dont find a rebound. everything happens for reason remember!

just keep yourself busy and focus on all the blessings in your life. eventually you'll get over her and be ready to date again, but it'll take some time.
