I am allergic to penicillin can i take nexium esomeprazole 20 mg? I have read the website but am confused about if this product contains penicillin. I live in korea and don't speak the language here has anyone else had this question?

Nexium is a proton pump inhibitior which means it blocks the stomach secretion of acid. It is not an antibiotic and contains no penicillin, so you are okay.

You have to find an english speaking pharmacist or call the company for info. Even though it's not penicilin related or based there can be similar chemical reactions so I wouldn't take the chance until I talk to someone. Is there a number on a website you can call or any bi-lingual pharmacist?
